Tzatziki Sauce

16 oz. container plain yogurt
1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon zest
1 garlic clove, pressed or finely minced

Stir together all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

  1. This wonderful Greek sauce can be served as a dip, a spread for sandwiches, or thinned out with olive oil and used as salad dressing. Traditionally, it accompanies shish kabobs and other lamb dishes and gyros.
